If you want to make this a closed setup, it's a bit difficult to discuss. By "high", I assume you mean 2 or more kills?

I have played in 3 forum games here, and I have never survived past D3, so I can't really comment xD. The day phases get faster and faster with elimination (assuming on average 1.7 average kills per day/night cycle), so I wouldn't be too concerned about length.

Are all flips hidden? I think that resurrections would require that, if you don't want too many confirmed town. As for multiple lives - what do you mean by that: effectively X-shot bulletproof+lynchproof? (I think this would slow the game down and might get a bit unfair for mafia.) I like the idea of fake deaths, that would have to be for 1 cycle only though. You could even give scum that power provided it made night action impossible; that way it can't be gamed to resolve lylo in mafia's favour. I could definitely see this being fun in person, but I don't know much about forum games, really - I'm not sure how removing flips would affect the game.

(Ofc you'd want death speeches, the game is impossible without them without compensatory investigative power) Maybe a lot of treestumps would fit thematically, too.

S tier: don't use. Anything where the mod lies to the players (fake info in role pm, told you do x when you do y etc)- especially in a role pm. Cults or any form of alignment changing.
A tier: Make the game worse. Usurper, Death miller, Suicidal, Random outcome roles (% to work etc), Silencer, voteless, Goo

B tier: If you've got a good excuse I guess. Survivor, lyncher
C tier: Some people would consider these bastard, but we use them a lot in games so they're more expected than would normally be Jester, Bamboozler, Bus driver, Janitor, Multiverse Air Traffic Deity etc

I was thinking of making shorter day night cycles to combat the extra length. With the mafia kills, they'd be able to assign them in any way they want so either go all out on one player to definitely kill them or perhaps whittle down the lives of some of them the first 2 nights and then get multiple kills on the next nights. Plus the killing from the neutrals

Stronger than unlimited bulletproof as it includes that trait along with others. If trusted could leave mafia with no way around it.
